It all starts with the exquisite design of the Amino Puzzle System Lamination packaging: you can feel the real artistic work that underlines the importance, elegance and luxury of this product.

The innovative composition of this Lovely Brows system is one of the harder, stronger formulations, but it does not «kill» the hair, which is undoubtedly a great advantage compared to other products on the market. The main function – long term styling of eyebrow hairs in the desired direction – is perfectly fulfilled by the Amino Puzzle laminating system.

So, let’s have a closer look at this lamination system.

Amino Puzzle System Lamination by Lovely Brows consists of 3 products:

1st – softening

2nd – lifting + neutraliser of preparation 1

3rd – caring and protective

Product 1 (Step Lift) contains a restructuring agent (thioglycolic acid) and alkaline components (amino acid arginine) which react to form thioglycolic acid salts which reduce the stress on the hair structure and improve the opening of the cuticle, softening the hair and allowing the product to penetrate easily into the hair. The hydrogen index (pH) of the composition is 9.1-9.4 – under these conditions, active destruction of disulfide bonds occurs. There is a better deposition of keratin in the hair structure, which better protects it from damage. As the formula penetrates the hair, it breaks the disulfide bonds between the keratin molecules. Once the disulfide bonds have been broken, the hair fibres move in relation to each other, making the hair pliable and easy to brush. The product is applied for 4-8 minutes at the beginning of the process. The length of exposure depends on the condition and diagnosis of the hair:

• 4-5 minutes – thin, brittle or chemically damaged (coloured or bleached) hair
• 5-7 minutes – medium thickness natural hair
• 7-8 minutes – unruly, stiff, bristly, thick and coarse hair

Product 2 (Step Fix)

The main difference in this composition is that it contains a chitosan complex. Acidic components (in our case hydrogen peroxide), which are the basis, as well as a special amino sugar – chitosan, which actively interacts with keratins to achieve a pH of 2.5-3.5, i.e. a sufficiently acidic environment in which disulfide bonds between keratin molecules are more actively restored, resulting in the perfect fixation of the hair shape. The second composition is applied at the same time as the first, i.e. their exposure time should be the same. This is very important to achieve a quality result.

Product 3 is moisturising, keratinising or Botox – these are the common names for this composition and its function is similar to that of a therapeutic hair mask. Unlike eyelashes, Product 3 is always used on the eyebrows as it is necessary for skin regeneration.

Product 3 – «Silky Pinky» Repair – contains an active liposomal cocktail HMA Silky by (Infinitec Activos, Spain), developed using a unique coacervation technology (the appearance of a high molecular weight compound of droplets enriched with a solute), which increases the efficiency of application and penetration into the hair structure. As a result, «Silky Pinky» Repair guarantees deep repair: it provides excellent hair protection, moisturises and restores structure by 29%, gives visible shine and silkiness and has a long-lasting conditioning effect, i.e. it preserves the effect of salon treatments for a long time.

Let’s have a closer look at the active ingredients in «Silky Pinky» Repair.

• Ceramide III, a lipid substance that improves the general condition of the hair: increases the adhesion of cuticle cells and reduces damage, provides a powerful increase in water retention capacity, restores hair integrity.
• Vitamins F and P provide nourishing and moisturising benefits, and have antioxidant properties.
• Silicone polymers, oat oil and panthenol add shine and suppleness, help hydrate hair and skin, and prevent dryness and flaking.

The Hydrogen Index (pH) of the formula is 4.5-5.5.

The pink colour of Silky Pinky makes the product attractive and bright, but at the same time it leaves no residue on hair and skin.

The use of the Amino Puzzle laminating system allows the structure of the hair to be preserved during the step-by-step laminating process, while achieving a 10% reduction in aggressiveness and a 7% increase in strength compared to analogues on the market.

Eyebrow lamination with the Amino Puzzle System Lamination

We check the general condition of the eyebrows: their shape, the quality and density of the hairs, the direction of their growth and their density, so that the hairs grow evenly over the entire eyebrow. If necessary, we shape them and if their density is uneven, we can «thin» them a little with tweezers. Next, cleanse the eyebrows with Protein Mousse Protector Shampoo 6 in 1 to protect the hairs of the eyebrows and eyelashes. It is advisable to avoid using scrubs and degreasers to avoid further irritating the skin under and around the hair. If the skin around the eyebrows is dry, you can apply oil to provide extra protection and moisture. It is better to do all of this with a brush, so that we only touch the hairs and virtually never touch or rub the skin underneath. You should choose your brush carefully because it can be quite aggressive and can leave micro scratches on the stratum corneum that are not visible, but after the laminating process can cause additional irritation and severe redness. All this is then removed with a damp cotton pad.

• Product 1 (Step Lift) with a brush in such a quantity that each hair is covered with the product. If you apply a little, there will not be a complete reaction and if you apply a lot, it will be an unnecessary consumption of the product. It is up to the nail technician to decide whether or not to cover the nail with a film, as this is more convenient for him/her and is based on his/her experience. After application, it is worth checking the process to see if the hair is ready or not. After 5 minutes, gently comb the hair with a brush no more than once. Make light movements, almost without touching, to see how well the hair is laid down without damaging the skin. When the hair is ready, it will be flexible in different directions, i.e. it will be able to take a given direction. When the required time has elapsed and the desired result has been achieved, carefully remove the remains of Product 1 with a wet cotton pad, concentrating on the eyebrow hairs, without rubbing too hard as this may stretch the hairs and rub the skin.

If necessary, apply the oil again with a brush, but in a thinner layer, before applying Product 2.

• Next, apply Product 2 (Step Fix), preferably with a brush, to minimise damage to the stratum corneum. Apply a sufficient amount and immediately make a layout, i.e. direct the hair in the direction in which we are going to fix it. Cover with film if desired. After 2-3 minutes, we correct the layout with a brush to make it perfect, because almost always during the laminating process any hair can change direction and spoil the work. After the required holding time, we remind you that the holding time of the 1st and 2nd products should be the same, wash off the product with a damp cotton pad. It is important to rinse thoroughly to stop any chemical reactions.

The Product 3 is the step in hair care – moisturising, repairing and protecting.

• The laminating process is very drying. It is through care that we nourish and restore our hair. To do this, apply Product 3 «Silky Pinky» Repair to the hair and leave for 3-5 minutes. Remove the residue with a cotton pad moistened with water. Comb lightly with a brush to complete the process.

Follow with tinting if desired.

The eyebrow lamination procedure is complete and will last for 1.5-2 months.

Eyelash lamination with the Amino Puzzle System Lamination

Before starting the procedure, prepare all the necessary materials: cotton pads, rollers, eyelash tweezers, glue, lamination system.

• Next, use a cleansing shampoo to prepare your lashes for the treatment, remove any cosmetics and cleanse your lashes.
• Depending on the length of your lashes and the desired result, choose the right size roller and glue. You can apply a fixing glue to the rollers, attach them to the base of the lashes and fix them well. Then carefully stick the lashes onto the rollers, no matter which side you start from, usually from the middle because that is where they are longest. The main thing is to spread them evenly and thinly so that they do not stick together. You can avoid the glue hardening by adding it in small portions and it is important to straighten and separate the lashes carefully.
• Apply Product 1 to the area where the curl is to be created – slightly away from the growth zone and along the entire length of the lashes, except for the tips. Do this with the same movements along the hair growth so as not to disturb its fixation. Leave in place for 4-8 minutes, depending on the quality and thickness of the hair. At the end of the time, remove the remaining product with a wet cotton pad. If the hair has come off, reglue it.
• Apply Product 2 to the lashes along the lash line. Work very carefully as the hairs are most fragile and prone to damage between stages 1 and 2. The application time is the same as for Product 1. Remove any residue with a damp cotton pad.
• Apply Product 3 to the lashes and leave for 3-5 minutes. Remove the residue with a cotton pad moistened with water or tonic; if it comes off easily, do not worry, the laminating process is complete.

Please note that laminated lashes are easy to care for, but the first 24 hours after the procedure are crucial for a strong hold. The most important thing is to keep the lashes dry and not to touch them. Do not expose them to water or steam to maximise the adhesion of the glue. Avoid swimming or going to the sauna. Avoid using oil-based eyelash products and mechanical curlers. Minimal use of mascara is desirable.

It should be noted that precautions should be taken.

Product 1 contains thioglycolate!

Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if necessary. Wear protective gloves. An allergy test should be carried out before use. Do not use in case of skin irritation and allergic reactions. Do not use metal objects. Follow all instructions.
