We are sharing with you (recommended by our technologists) the instructions for working with lamination formulations by Nikk Mole.
We emphasise that you can adjust the exposure time based on the condition of the client’s eyebrow or eyelash hairs.
How to use the Perfect lamination system for eyebrow lamination
- We inspect the general condition of the eyebrows: their shape, quality and density of hairs, the direction of their growth, and density. Next, you need to cleanse your eyebrows with Protein Mousse Protector 6 in 1 shampoo to protect the hairs of your eyebrows and eyelashes. It is advisable not to use scrubs and aggressive cleansers to avoid further irritating the skin under and around the hairs. If the skin around the eyebrows is dry, you can use oil, which will provide additional protection and moisture. The procedure is best done with a Nikk Mole lamination brush and a brush, so we touch only the hairs, and the skin underneath them is hardly touched or rubbed. You should choose a brush carefully, as it can be quite aggressive and leave micro-scratches on the stratum corneum that are not visible, but after the lamination procedure, additional irritation and severe redness may remain. You can cover the eyebrows with a film according to your desire and work experience.
- Apply Step №1 Lift with a brush, spread it evenly over the entire surface of the eyebrows so that each hair is covered with the product. After application, you should control the process – whether the hair is ready or not. To do this, after 3-5 minutes, gently comb the hairs with a brush no more than 1 time. Perform light movements, almost without touching, without injuring the skin, to understand how obediently the hair is laid: it will be flexible in different directions, that is, it will be able to take the direction given to it.
- The exposure time of the product is 6-12 minutes. The amount of time for the procedure depends on the result you want to achieve, as well as the condition and structure of the hair. As soon as the hair begins to lose colour, i.e. the process turns into melanin, we recommend washing off the product with a damp cotton pad.
- Apply Step №2 Fix to the eyebrows, preferably with a brush to minimise damage to the stratum corneum. Apply a sufficient amount and immediately make a layout, that is, direct the hairs in the direction in which we will fix them. If desired, cover with a film. After 2-3 minutes, correct the layout with a brush to make it perfect, because almost always during the lamination procedure, any hair can change direction and spoil the work. Rinse off the remaining composition with a cotton pad moistened with water. Attention: The exposure time of the second composition must correspond to the exposure time of the first composition, reducing the time is unacceptable.
- For better hair recovery after chemicals, it is advisable to use Happy Brows. Without violating the integrity of the package, use a syringe to draw 0.1 ml of the product. Mix with water at room temperature 1:1 in a non-metallic container. Mix thoroughly until a white creamy consistency is formed. Apply with a brush to clean eyebrow hairs, optionally cover with a film. Leave for 10-15 minutes and rinse with a wet cotton pad.
- If necessary, shape the eyebrows, and if they are unevenly thick, you can “thin” them out a little with tweezers and the eyebrows are ready for colouring. Nikk Mole paints will help to enhance the contour, improve the expressiveness of the eyebrows, and hide minor imperfections. The colour palette will give natural shades. The colouring process is simple and takes up to 15 minutes.
- To complete the lamination process and fix the result, apply Step №3 for additional moisturising and restoration of the hair structure. Composition №3 does NOT need to be washed off. Lightly brush through the eyebrow hairs to complete the procedure.
The eyebrow lamination procedure is complete and lasts for 1-1.5 months.
How to use the Perfect lamination system for eyelash lamination
Before starting the procedure, prepare all the necessary materials: cotton pads, rollers, tweezers for laying eyelashes, glue, lamination system.
- Next, use a special shampoo to prepare your eyelashes for the procedure, remove all cosmetics, and clean your eyelashes.
- Depending on the length of the eyelashes and the expected result (the desired curve of the eyelashes), choose the necessary size of the roller and glue. You can apply a fixing glue to the rollers, place them on the base of the lashes and fix them well. Next, carefully stick the lashes on the rollers, no matter which side you start from, usually from the middle, because they are the longest there. The main thing is to spread them evenly and thin them out so that they do not stick together. You can avoid glue hardening by adding it in small portions, and it is important to carefully straighten and separate the lashes.
- Apply formulation №1 Lift 1Lift 1 to the curl formation area: slightly retreat from the growth zone and along the entire length, except for the tips of the lashes. Do it with the same movements along the hair growth to avoid breaking their fixation. The amount of time spent on the procedure depends on the desired result, as well as the condition and structure of the hair. Leave it on for 5-12 minutes. Control the exposure time: as soon as the colour begins to lighten, it is advisable to complete the process and remove the remaining composition with a cotton pad moistened with water. If the hairs come off somewhere, re-glue them.
- Apply the composition №2 Fix to the eyelashes along the line of their growth and distribute it evenly over the entire length of the eyelashes. Work very carefully, because between the 1st and 2nd stages, the hairs are most fragile and prone to injury. The exposure time should correspond to the exposure time of the first composition, reducing the time is unacceptable. Remove any residue with a cotton pad moistened with water.
- Now the eyelashes are ready for colouring. The dye by Nikk Mole will emphasise the expressiveness of the eyelashes and add colour saturation. The hazel-black tone will allow you to get an excellent rich colour. The colouring process is simple and takes up to 15 minutes. After washing off the paint, remove the rollers.
- Apply composition №3 to the eyelash hairs with a brush. The components of composition №3 will moisturise and restore the structure of the hair as much as possible.
The composition does NOT need to be washed off.
Excellent results are guaranteed for up to 5-6 weeks. The eyelashes visually become thicker, longer and more expressive.
Please note that laminated eyelashes are easy to care for, but the first 24 hours after the procedure are crucial for a strong fixation. The main thing is to keep the lashes dry and not to touch them. Do not expose them to water or steam. Avoid swimming or going to the sauna. Avoid using oil-based eyelash products, mechanical eyelash curlers. Minimal application of mascara is desirable.
It should be noted that precautions should be taken.
